Visitation

Your Visitation Rights Matter. Call 909.435.0732

Cases involving “equal share” parenting time aren't relegated only to divorce settlements. California family law courts are equally concerned with cases involving non-married parents. In general, equal parenting time is thought to be best for the child(ren). In many cases, however, domestic circumstances dictate that parenting time for one parent must be severely curtailed or the visitation supervised by a professional.

I am attorney Lenita Skoretz. At my Redlands, California, family law firm, I am ready to help you resolve your legal concerns relating to custody and visitation rights.

Contact me with specific questions about protecting your visitation rights and developing a satisfactory agreement with the other parent of your child(ren).

We will work together to find a mediated solution to visitation rights

In cases involving visitation rights and custody, the court will require you to attend at least one mediation session to seek a visitation agreement. I strongly believe that using mediation or a collaborative law process is often the best way to resolve many issues relating to agreements you may need to reach with the other parent of your child. When necessary, I will bring in a professional counselor to help you reach agreements that truly are best for your family's welfare.

I am ready to help you resolve all issues relating to:

When a visitation rights agreement cannot be reached

If a couple cannot reach a co-parenting plan that is acceptable to both parties, the family court judge will have to make a decision regarding visitation rights. It is important for parents to recognize that a fight over a visitation schedule is very difficult for children. It should be avoided when at all possible. I will do everything possible to help you avoid a trial, but when one is necessary, I will always protect the best interests of your children
